Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley Picks & Betting Tips

Tyron Woodley is not going to be an easy out for Jake Paul like his last three opponents.

Unlike Ben Askren, Woodley has stand-up skills and power and he did showcase his stopping power on several occasions.

Woodley is a huge step up from the men Paul previously faced. He could take him beyond 3.5 rounds and could score an upset.

  • Tyron Woodley won a UFC title by knocking out Robbie Lawler in 132 seconds
  • Tyron Woodley is the most talented striker that Jake Paul has faced so far
  • Tyron Woodley is a more experienced fighter Jake Paul has faced
  • Tyron Woodley was never stopped by punches alone in his MMA career

Jake Paul Form

Jake Paul has compiled a 3-0 professional record since making his boxing debut in January 2020.

He needed less than three minutes to knock out fellow social media star AnEsonGib in his first attempt at the sweet science.

In his second outing the 24-year-old American stepped into the ring with ex-NBA player Nate Robinson and knocked him out in the second round.

Paul then signed on to fight an experienced fighter in his third bout, but he was paired with an ex-UFC fighter not known for his stand-up skills and power.

It proved to be a safe move as Paul needed only one minute and 59 seconds to stop Ben Askren.

Tyron Woodley Form

Tyron Woodley has never stepped foot in a professional boxing ring but is the most experienced fighter that Paul has faced.

‘The Chosen One’ made his MMA debut in February 2009 and went on to compile a 19-7-1 record, with seven of those wins coming via knockout.

He stopped talented striker Robbie Lawler in two minutes and 12 seconds to win the UFC welterweight title in July 2016.

Woodley then went on to defend the title four times before losing it to Kamaru Usman in March 2019.

That was the start of a four-fight losing run that ultimately ended his career, but none of those losses came via strikes and were all against talented grapplers.
