Verdict

This should be an excellent series. Both teams are in good form. The White Sox might be without 1B Jose Abreu (illness) and they have struggled on the road.

The Astros dominated the White Sox at Minute Maid Park this year and they have been tremendous at home this year. The ‘Stros have been swinging the bats the bats extremely well and McCullers has completely shut down the White Sox this year. Additionally, several Houston batters – led by Jose Altuve and Michael Brantley – have had a lot of success against Lynn.
