Atlanta missed out on the sweep as they lost the final meeting 6-4, but they responded with 3-0, 5-0 and 4-3 wins over Miami.
The Braves then took two of their three meetings with Cleveland, sandwiching a 4-2 defeat with 6-2 and 4-3 wins.
Seattle Mariners Form
Seattle entered this series on the back of a loss, but in strong form having won nine of their last 12 games.
The Mariners started this sequence at home, as they swept Cincinnati in a three-game series courtesy of 9-3, 3-1 and 5-1 victories.
They then travelled to Colorado and sandwiched a 2-1 defeat to the Rockies with 7-0 and 10-2 blowout wins.
Seattle’s good run then continued when they moved on to Texas, as they won 4-0 and 4-3 either side of a 5-1 defeat.
The Mariners returned home after that and won their first two meetings with Arizona, 6-1 and 3-1, before dropping the final encounter, 3-2.
Verdict
Reynaldo Lopez gets the nod for Atlanta, and given the form he is in they are a good bet to bounce back from last night's defeat.
