Boston Celtics at Chicago Bulls Preview & Picks

Boston are tipped to cover as a road betting favorite in Chicago.

Chicago were blown out by Milwaukee last night, continuing their poor form against top teams.

That is unlikely to change here, especially if the Bulls opt to rest Zach LaVine & Alex Caruso.

  • Boston Celtics are 24-5 in their last 29 games
  • Boston Celtics are 7-3-0 ATS in their last 10 games
  • Boston Celtics are 5-1-0 ATS in their last 6 road games
  • Chicago Bulls are 5-14-0 ATS in their last 19 games
  • Chicago Bulls are 2-19 vs teams above .600
  • Chicago Bulls are 4-17-0 ATS vs teams above .600

Head To Head

  • Boston Celtics lead the all-time series 146-112
  • The season series is tied at 1-1
  • Boston Celtics won 114-112 when the teams last met on January 15

Boston Celtics Form

Boston head out on their road for their final three games on the back of a couple of home wins.

The Celtics saw a six-game win streak come to an end with an overtime defeat in Toronto last week.

They then fell to Miami before ending the week on a positive note with a couple of wins.

Boston returned to winning ways with a 128-123 victory over Indiana at TD Garden.

They then made it back-to-back wins on Sunday with a 144-102 demolition of Washington in their home regular season finale.

Jaylen Brown led the way for Boston with 32 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the win over the Wizards.

Jayson Tatum had 22 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Grant Williams and Derrick White each shot 86.7% off the bench to combine for 33 points.

Chicago Bulls Form

Chicago clinched a playoff place last night, but their terrible form against the NBA’s best continued.

The Bulls put together back-to-back wins last week as they downed Washington and the Los Angeles Clippers.

However, once the opposition got better their form again took a turn for the worse.

Chicago were blown out 127-108 at home by Miami on Saturday night, and were then swept by Milwaukee at home last night.

The Bulls were beaten 127-106 by the Bucks and are now just 2-19 against teams above .600.

DeMar DeRozan once again did his best to lead Chicago as he poured in 40 points in the loss to Milwaukee.

Patrick Williams had 18 points, but the rest of the supporting cast failed to make up for the absence of Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso.

Verdict

Chicago’s form against teams above .600 continues to stink.

There is no real reason to believe that will change when Boston visit the United Center tonight.
