The Raptors started 2023 by losing three consecutive games, a run that began with a 122-114 loss at Indiana.

They were then beaten in double overtime at home by Milwaukee, 104-101, before falling to New York, 112-108.

Toronto snapped their skid with a 117-105 home win against Portland and then built on that with back-to-back wins against Charlotte, 132-120 and 124-114.

The Raptors’ surge was halted by a 114-103 loss to Atlanta, but they rebounded in the ‘Big Apple’ last night with a 123-121 win against the Knicks.

Milwaukee go into this matchup looking to build on last night’s home win against Indiana.

The Bucks made a mixed start to 2023 as they went 2-2 through their first four games of the year.

They sandwiched wins against Washington (123-113) and Toronto (104-101 OT) with defeats to the Wizards (118-95) and Charlotte (138-109).

Milwaukee rebounded on the road to beat New York 111-107 and Atlanta 114-105, only to then lose back-to-back games in Miami, 108-102 and 111-95.

The Bucks bounced back last night though, returning home to down Indiana 132-119 thanks to a fourth-quarter surge.
