The Tigers opened up the season with back-to-back shutout wins, beating Murray State 51-0 and Buffalo 38-0.
They then downed Boston College 27-21 before winning their first conference matchup of the season, beating Vanderbilt 30-27.
Missouri’s perfect start was ended by a 41-10 blowout defeat when they visited Texas A&M, costing them a top-10 spot, but they have steadied the ship since then.
The Tigers bounced back with a 45-3 win in Massachusetts, before returning home to take down Auburn, 21-17.
Alabama Form
Alabama return home looking to bounce back from their second defeat in their last three games, which has left them 5-2.
The Crimson Tide kicked off the campaign with a 63-0 shutout of Western Kentucky, and backed that up with a 42-16 win over South Florida.
They then went out on the road for the first time to beat Wisconsin 42-10, before fending off a second half fightback from Georgia to beat the Bulldogs 41-34.
That sent Alabama top of the rankings, but they quickly surrendered that spot with a shock 40-35 defeat at Vanderbilt.
The Crimson Tide rebounded to beat South Carolina 27-25, only to then go back out on the road to lose 24-17 at Tennessee.
Verdict
Alabama have cooled off spectacularly, but we are giving them one last chance here.
Missouri were blown out the last time they visited a ranked SEC team, and if the Crimson Tide can get that offense clicking again they are capable of running away with this.
