They rebounded a week later with a 66-7 blowout of Purdue, before registering their first home win of the season as they beat Miami OH 28-3.
Notre Dame then registered their second win over a ranked team this season as they battled past Louisville, 31-24.
The Fighting Irish have backed that up and taken their streak to five games with a 49-7 blowout of Stanford and a 31-13 victory over Georgia tech.

The Midshipmen kicked off the campaign with a 49-21 win over Bucknell, and followed that up with a 38-11 victory against Temple.
