Chicago fell apart in the second half of their season opener as they lost 34-14 to the Los Angeles Rams.
The defense gave up huge plays and the offense was tepid at best, relying massively on David Montgomery.
The Bears defense bounced back in Week 2 as they recorded four takeaways in a win over Cincinnati.
Once again the offense offered little though, producing just 206 total yards in a 20-17 win.
The big headline coming out of that game was the injury to Andy Dalton that will rule him out here.
Chicago now has to start rookie prospect Justin Fields. The ex-Ohio State QB has seen limited reps so far, going 8/15 for 70 yards and an interception. He has rushed for 34 yards and a score.
David Montgomery has been the bright spot on offense. The running back has 197 all-purpose yards and one touchdown through two games.
No receiver has hit 100 yards. Darnell Mooney has 92 yards while Allen Robinson II has just 59 yards and the team’s only receiving TD.

Baker Mayfield is 40/49 through two games, throwing for 534 yards, one touchdown and a pick.
Running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt have carried this team. Chubb has rushed for 178 yards and three scores, as well as 21 yards receiving. Hunt has 114 all-purpose yards and one score.
Star receiver Jarvis Landry will miss this game but the Browns could welcome back Odell Beckham Jr.
The defense has kept both of their opponents under 100 yards rushing so far, and in last week’s win over Houston they produced their first couple of turnovers.

Chicago fans have waited for this moment but it is unlikely to be a winning first start for Fields.
Outside of David Montgomery this Bears offense has not got going, and it hasn’t looked good in years!
