Jacksonville won seven of their last nine games and each of the last five to storm into the playoffs.
The Jaguars lost five straight games in October to fall to 2-6 and seemingly bow out of postseason contention.
They were able to snap that skid with a 27-20 win against Las Vegas, but then lost 27-17 at Kansas City to go into the bye at 3-7.
Jacksonville bounced back with a 28-27 win against Baltimore when they returned to action, only to then get blown out 40-14 at Detroit to fall to 4-8.
The Jaguars have not lost since though, embarking on a remarkable run to seal a return to the playoffs.
They won 36-22 at Tennessee before upsetting Dallas in overtime, 40-34, and they then made it three-in-a-row with a 19-3 win at the New York Jets.
Jacksonville then blew out Houston 31-3 on the road, setting up a winner-takes-all clash with Tennessee in Week 18.
The Jaguars won it, with a late Josh Allen fumble return snatching a 20-16 win and the AFC South title.
