The Stars ended the regular season in good form with six consecutive wins, but they made a slow start to the playoffs by losing two of their first three games against Minnesota.
They tied up the series with a 3-2 road win in Game 4 though, and that sparked a three-game win streak that saw them win 4-0 and 4-1 to seal a 4-2 series victory over the Wild.
