New York City vs FC Dallas Previews & Picks - New York City to make it two wins in a row in the MLS

New York City currently sit in fifth in the Eastern Conference, with their run of three-games without defeat helping the side to battle to the top-places at this early-stage of the season. 

FC Dallas have also been good, with four victories in eight meaning they are just four points short of St Louis City at the summit of the Western Conference. 

Draws have been the order of the day between these two sides in recent years, with four stalemates in their last seven matches. City have won twice including their last matchup in July of 2022, while Dallas have won once, with this coming all the way back in 2015. 

New York City look good at this early stage of the season, with three wins coming in their last eight alongside two defeats and three draws. 

Without a loss since the end of March, City have been able to take a point from both New England Revolution and Atlanta United, while they beat Nashville SC in their last game. 

It is worth noting that City have only lost on the road this season, winning three times at home and drawing the other match. With the Eastern Conference likely to be very competitive this season, turning a home stadium into a fortress is vital. 

FC Dallas currently sit in fourth in the Western Conference after a strong start to the new campaign. 

The away side in this clash have not been able to to consistently pick up wins on the road, with a victory over Inter Miami a few games ago following a loss to LAFC and a draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps on the road. 

Dallas have proved to be a tough side to tip on the road due to their inconsistency, while they have only played three of their eight games away from home. This match will likely provide further insight into how strong they will be on the road this season.
