The Gamblers made a rough start to the season as they lost back-to-back games, falling to a 29-13 defeat to Michigan and a 38-31 loss to New Orleans.
The offense sparked in that loss to the Breakers though, and a week later they got off the mark with a 30-26 victory over Memphis.
Houston then reeled off three more wins, blowing out Philadelphia 41-16 and beating defending champions Birmingham 27-20, before downing New Jersey 16-10.
The Gamblers failed to make it five-in-a-row though, as they were beaten 23-20 by Memphis last time out.

Pittsburgh bring a league-worst 2-5 record into Week 8 after losing again last weekend.
