Tennessee Titans edged the Indianapolis Colts to the AFC South title in 2020 as both teams finished 11-5. Can the Titans retain their crown this season?

Tennessee have shown that on their day they can beat the best the AFC has to offer.
Therefore it is no shock to see sportsbooks backing them to win the South for the second season running.
Derrick Henry remains one of the most dominant running backs in the game and the Titans have relied heavily on him.
They have moved to really bolster the passing game in the offseason. They completed a blockbuster trade for Julio Jones and also brought in Josh Reynolds.
Add them to AJ Brown and we could see Ryan Tannehill go to the air a lot more in 2021.
Defensively they made a big offseason move too, splashing the cash to bring in Bud Dupree from Pittsburgh.
Denico Autry has also arrived from division rivals Indianapolis, so Tennessee are looking good on both sides of the football.
Head-to-head won them the division in 2020. This time they could finish at least a game clear of the rest.
AFC North Predictions & Tips: Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis narrowly missed out on the division title last season, losing to Tennessee on the head-to-head.
The sportsbooks believe Indy are the biggest threats to the Titans but they have already suffered a sizeable setback.
Carson Wentz was brought in to replace Philip Rivers this offseason, but he is poised to miss the start of the season.
The good news for his temporary replacement is that they will be protected by a strong offensive line.
They will also be supported by running backs Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Heins, meaning whoever comes in will not be forced to win games with their arm.
Defensively they will look for more from the pass rush this season, with Kwity Paye and Dayo Odeyingo drafted to help All-Pro tackle DeForest Buckner.
Behind that front the Colts boast a couple of top talents in Darius Leonard and Kenny Moore III.
This is a strong roster that, with some fine-tuning, could become a contender in the years to come, but Wentz’s injury could leave them playing catch-up early in 2021.
AFC North Predictions & Tips: Jacksonville Jaguars
It has been all change for Jacksonville – a new head coach and a new superstar QB in the draft.
Urban Meyer can bring a winning culture to the Jaguars and they have landed a potential superstar in Trevor Lawrence.
But it is going to take more than one offseason to turn the Jaguars into contenders for the South. They do have some building blocks though.
They are stacked at running back if James Robinson can build on his rookie season and Travis Etienne can convert his college form into the pros.
The wide receiver group is strong too with Marvin Jones Jr and Phillip Dorsett II added to Laviska Shenault Jr and DJ Clark Jr.
The defense was a major headache last season and has undergone an overhaul.
Joe Cullen has been brought in to turn this unit around and there will be a bunch of new faces starting in 2021, including Shaquil Griffin.
This unit should improve in 2021, but will it be enough to help them challenge? Probably not
AFC North Predictions & Tips: Houston Texans
Look for ‘dumpster fire’ in a dictionary and you will probably see a Houston Texans logo.
JJ Watt has moved on. Deshaun Watson wants out. There will be a bunch of new starters on both sides of the football.
This is a franchise in crisis – a franchise that could conceivably become the first 0-17 team in NFL history this season.
Verdict
Tennessee could take that next step this season and if they do they can be kings of the North.
Indianapolis are the most likely to challenge them, but the loss of Wentz is a setback that could cost them a few wins early.
