The Lakers made a winning start to the season as they beat Minnesota 110-103 in an historic matchup that saw the James father-son duo share the court for the first time.
They backed that up a few nights later with a 123-116 victory over Phoenix, before improving to 3-0 with a 131-127 success against Sacramento.
However, Los Angeles were unable to keep that run going when they went out on the road at the start of this week.
The Lakers visited Phoenix for their first road game on Monday night, and they suffered a 109-105 defeat at the hands of the Suns.
Cleveland Cavaliers Form
Cleveland return home looking to maintain a 100% start to the season that has seen win four straight.
The Cavaliers have played on the road three times during this start, but that has not prevented them from stacking up the ‘W’s.
They opened up with a 136-106 blowout of the Raptors in Toronto, before heading home to down Detroit in their home opener, 113-101.
Cleveland then went back out on the road for their next two games, and the wins kept coming.
The Cavaliers first travelled to Washington to beat the Wizards, 135-116, and then moved on to New York to down the Knicks, 110-104.
