Oregon Form

Oregon come into the Pac-12 Championship Game seeking revenge for their only regular season defeat.

The Ducks opened the 2023 season with a five-game win streak, putting them in good form heading into the big clash with Washington on October 14.

The two teams went toe-to-toe, but the Ducks gave up a touchdown with less than two minutes remaining to lose 36-33.

Oregon rebounded quickly though, sparking a six-game win streak with a 38-24 win over Washington State 38-24.

The Ducks backed that up with a 35-6 win at #13 Utah, a 63-19 blowout of California, a 36-27 victory over USC and a 49-13 success at Arizona State.

They then wrapped up the regular season, and kept themselves in the College Football Playoff hunt, with a 31-7 win over rivals #15 Oregon State.

Washington Form

Washington go into the Pac-12 Championship with a perfect record and on the brink of the College Football Playoffs.

The Huskies reeled off three convincing non-conference wins to start the season and quickly started stacking up Pac-12 successes.

Their biggest game of the season came in mid-October when they played host to #8 Oregon, and a late touchdown lifted them to a 36-33 in a wild game.

Washington spluttered a week later as they scraped past Arizona State 15-7, and they then went out on the road to beat Stanford 42-33.

The Huskies continued their streak with a 52-42 shootout win at #24 USC, and they then beat #13 Utah 35-28 at home before downing #10 Oregon State on the road, 22-20.

They capped off a perfect regular season campaign last weekend with a 24-21 victory over Washington State.

Verdict

Oregon have been the better team since the regular season meeting and are widely fancied to get their revenge.

However, Washington has the firepower to stick with them and they have been involved in a bunch of close games, so we are taking the Huskies and the points.
