Los Angeles go out on the road for the second weekend running looking to improve their record to 4-2.
The Chargers enjoyed a solid start to the season as they won their first two games, starting with a 22-10 victory over Las Vegas.
They then went out on the road to beat Carolina 26-3, only to see their perfect start end a week later when they were beaten 20-10 in Pittsburgh.
It became back-to-back defeats when Los Angeles then returned home to lose 17-10 to division rivals, and defending Super Bowl champions, Kansas City.
The Chargers did bounce back when they returned from the bye week though, beating Denver 23-16 on the road last weekend.
Arizona Cardinals Form
Arizona enter this matchup having failed to build on their upset win over San Francisco, falling to 2-4 last weekend.
The Cardinals opened the season with a 34-28 defeat in Buffalo, but rebounded in their home opener a week later, blowing out the Los Angeles Rams, 41-10.
They failed to build on that however, as they then suffered defeats in back-to-back home games.
Arizona lost 20-13 to Detroit and 42-14 to Washington, but they avoided a third straight defeat as they pulled off a shock victory over the 49ers, 24-23.
The Cardinals’ joy was short-lived however, as they were brought back down to Earth by a 34-13 defeat at Green Bay last weekend.
Verdict
Arizona are starting to pile up losses and the offense continues to struggle.
That spells trouble against a Los Angeles defense that leads the league in points allowed per game, so we expect the Chargers to come away with a win and the cover here.
