Max Johnson may not be Joe Burrow, but he does not make many mistakes and that makes him a safe pair of hands at QB.
Johnson is supported by some experienced running backs, while the defense welcomes back to of the best DBs in the college game.
This should be a much better season for LSU and they could enjoy a winning start against LSU.

Time could be running out for UCLA head coach Chip Kelly. He has overseen three straight losing seasons.
The Bruins are yet to win five games in a season too, so the pressure is firmly on them.
Unlike LSU, they have already kicked off their season having faced Hawaii in Week 0. UCLA raced out of the blocks with 24 first-quarter points as they ran over Hawaii, 44-10.
The run game was the key as Zach Charbonnet and Brittain Brown combined for 184 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
They had to shine too because Dorian Thompson-Robinson underwhelmed. The QB had only a 50% completion rate for just 130 yards and a score.
Defensively this is a solid group that led the conference in sacks last season. They will hope that if they can get to Johnson they can unsettle him and force uncharacteristic errors.
