The Dukes earned themselves top-25 recognition by winning their first seven games, and they maintain that spot the rest of the way, going 4-1 in their last five games.

They beat Old Dominion 30-27 before heading to Georgia State and recording a 42-14 blowout win.

James Madison the returned home to crush Connecticut 44-6, but their hopes of an unbeaten season were dashed in their penultimate game as they were beaten 26-23 by Appalachian State.

The Dukes did rebound in their regular season finale though, beating Coastal Carolina 56-14 last time out.

Air Force enter this Bowl Game having lost their final four games of the regular season to finish 8-4.

The Falcons opened the season with an eight-game win streak that reached its peak with a 17-6 win at Navy and a 30-13 victory at Colorado State.

They have not wins since that October 28 clash though, losing all four of the remaining games on their regular season schedule.

Air Force’s perfect run was halted by a 23-3 defeat to Army, and that was followed by a 27-13 defeat in Hawaii and a 31-27 loss at home to UNLV.

The Falcons’ losing skid then hit four games as they wrapped up the regular season with a 27-19 defeat to Boise State.
