Edmonton head to Winnipeg looking to avenge last week’s defeat to the Blue Bombers, which has left them 5-8.
The Elks made a miserable start to the season as they lost their first seven games, but they breathed new life into their campaign in August.
They finally got off the mark with a 42-32 win in Saskatchewan, and backed that up with a 33-16 win over the BC Lions and a 47-22 victory in Hamilton.
Edmonton then rebounded from a 21-17 defeat to defending champions Montreal with back-to back wins over Calgary, beating the Stampeders 35-20 on the road and 37-16 at home.
The Elks failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they were beaten 27-14 when they hosted Winnipeg a week ago.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Form
Winnipeg return home riding a six-game win streak that has kick-started their season and put them at 8-6.
The Blue Bombers have been a fixture in the playoffs in recent years, but postseason football looked to be jeopardy when they lost six of their first eight games.
They sparked a turnaround either side of their first bye week though, winning back-to-back meetings with the BC Lions, 25-0 at home and 20-11 on the road.
Winnipeg then beat Hamilton 26-23, before recording consecutive wins over Saskatchewan, 35-33 on the road and 26-21 at home, to go into the bye week at 7-6.
The Blue Bombers then picked up from where they left off when they returned to action last week, winning 27-14 in Edmonton.

Winnipeg are stacking up wins and covers, and just last week they beat Edmonton on the road.
