Montreal head out on the road for the third week running looking to make it back-to-back wins and improve to 12-2-1.
The Alouettes lifted the Grey Cup last season, and made a blistering start to their defence of the crown as they won their first five games.
They then rebounded from a 37-18 defeat to Toronto with five more victories to enter their second bye week of the season at 10-1.
Montreal failed to make it six-in-a-row as they lost 37-23 to the BC Lions, and they then played out a 19-19 tie when they visited Calgary.
The Alouettes finally got back to winning ways last week though, as they travelled to Ottawa to down the Redblacks, 24-12.
Toronto Argonauts Form
Toronto go into this game having lost three of their previous four games to fall to 7-7 for the season.
The Argonauts opened the season with back-to-back wins, but they have struggled for consistency since then.
They went into their second bye week with a 5-4 record, and when they returned to action they beat Saskatchewan 20-19 at home.
Toronto failed to back that up as they then lost back-to-back road games, losing 31-28 when they visited Hamilton and 41-27 when they travelled to Ottawa.
The Argonauts avoided a third straight loss, beating the BC Lions 33-17, only to quickly return to losing ways as they fell 33-31 to Hamilton.
Verdict
Montreal have been the better team over the course of the season and they remain one of the CFL’s most reliable spread bets, especially on the road.
Therefore we are backing the Alouettes to overcome a small number as they take this matchup.
