The Flyers enjoyed a successful regular season campaign that saw them go 24-6 and close out with back-to-back wins.
They went out on the road to beat Saint Louis 100-83, before returning home to take down Virginia Commonwealth, 91-86, in overtime.
Dayton’s regular season form did not transfer over to the Atlantic 10 conference tournament though, as they lost 65-57 to Duquesne in the quarter-finals.
That sent the Flyers into the national tournament on a low note, but they avoided a quick exit from March Madness as they beat Nevada 63-60 in round one.

Arizona have dropped a couple of games recently, but they are the better team.
