Illinois then clinched the conference tournament crown with a 93-87 victory over Wisconsin.
The Fighting Illini’s streak continued in the opening round of the national tournament, as they produced a strong second half to down Morehead State 85-69.

Duquesne are riding a nine-game win streak as they look to spring a second round upset at March Madness.
The Dukes have not lost a game since they were beaten 79-67 in a regular season game at Fordham back on February 23.
They responded to that loss by winning the final four games of that part of the campaign, and kept the momentum going as they went on to win the Atlantic 10 conference tournament.
Duquesne beat Saint Louis 83-73, Dayton 65-57 and St Bonaventure 70-60 on their way to the final, which they won by beating Virginia Commonwealth 57-51.
The Dukes then took their streak to nine games with an upset win in the first round of March Madness, beating Brigham Young 71-67.

Duquesne have caused one upset at March Madness, but another is unlikely.
