They sparked a three-game win streak with a 27-0 shutout win against Arizona, following that up with a 33-31 win at Baltimore and a 13-10 victory over Pittsburgh.
Cleveland’s run was halted by a 29-12 defeat at Denver, and they then suffered a 36-19 loss when the visited the Los Angeles Rams.
The Browns got back on track over the past couple of weekends though, backing up a 31-27 victory over Jacksonville with a 20-17 win against Chicago.
Houston Texans Form
Houston’s form has dipped over the past couple of weeks, but at 8-6 they are still in the race to win the AFC South.
Like their opponents on Sunday, the Texans also found some form in November after an inconsistent start.
They beat Tampa Bay 39-37 at home, and backed that up with a 30-27 win at Cincinnati and a 21-16 victory over Arizona to make it three wins in a row.
Houston failed to keep that running as they then lost 24-21, but they did rebound at the first attempt by beating Denver 22-17.
The Texans then suffered a disappointing 30-6 defeat at the New York Jets, only to respond with a 19-16 overtime win in Tennessee.
Verdict
Having no CJ Stroud for a meeting with this Cleveland defense is a massive issue for Houston.
