The Saints stopped the rot with a dominant 28-6 win over division rivals Carolina, and they backed it up last Sunday with a 24-6 victory over the New York Giants.
Los Angeles Rams Form
Los Angeles have won four of their last five games to reach 7-7 and stay in the race for a Wildcard berth.
The Rams’ season appeared to be all but over when they went into the bye week on the back of a 20-3 defeat at Green Bay.
That loss – their third straight – left them with a 3-6 record and in desperate need of some wins when they returned to action.
Los Angeles have got those wins, following up a 17-16 win against Seattle with a 37-14 victory at Arizona and a 36-19 success against Cleveland.
The Rams’ streak was ended by a 37-31 overtime loss in Baltimore, but they hit back immediately with a 28-20 win over Washington last weekend.
Verdict
Short weeks have not been an issue for Los Angeles during the Sean McVay era.
Momentum is on their side too, so we expect the Rams to win and cover as they boost their bid for a Wildcard berth.
