The Wildcats kicked off the campaign with a home game against Southern Mississippi and they were able to shut out the visitors in a 31-0 win.
They failed to back that up a week later though, as they kicked off their conference schedule with a 31-6 defeat at home to South Carolina.
Kentucky lost the following week too, but they took plenty of plaudits from a 13-12 loss to Georgia that knocked the Bulldogs off the top of the rankings.
The Wildcats did return to winning ways last weekend though, as they made light work of Ohio in a 41-6 victory.

Ole Miss have blasted out of the blocks this season, reeling off four consecutive victories to enter their conference schedule at 4-0.
The Rebels opened up the campaign with a shutout, dominating Furman in a 76-0 victory at home.
They failed to shut out their opponent the following week, but they gave up only one solitary field goal in a 52-3 demolition of Middle Tennessee State.
Ole Miss then went out on the road for the first time in Week 3, and they came away with another convincing win as they beat Wake Forest 40-6.
That left the Rebels with one more game on their non-conference schedule, and it proved to be another lop-sided victory as they downed Georgia Southern, 52-13.
Verdict
Ole Miss’ offense is piling up points and the defense continues to limit opposition scoring.
So while Kentucky did run Georgia close recently, we do like the chances of the Rebels running away with this one.
