Orlando’s skid continued as they were beaten 35-32 in Vegas, and reached six games as they were beaten 26-19 at home by Seattle.
The Guardians finally got off the mark in Week 7 though, and they did it in spectacular fashion as they beat previously unbeaten DC, 37-36.
That kept them in the playoff mix in the South Division, but their postseason aspirations were ended last weekend by an 18-16 defeat at home to Arlington.
San Antonio Brahmas Form
San Antonio are on the bubble in the playoff race, after last weekend’s defeat saw them fall to 2-6.
The Brahmas blew a big lead late on as they lost their season opener at home to St Louis, 18-15.
They rebounded a week later with a 30-12 victory in Orlando, but their form quickly nose-dived as they lost three straight.
San Antonio lost 22-13 in Houston and 15-6 in Seattle, before heading home for a 12-10 defeat at the hands of Arlington.
The Brahmas avenged that defeat a week later as they beat the Renegades 15-9 in the return game, but that has been followed by back-to-back defeats.
They lost 26-12 at Vegas in Week 7, and then fell to a 17-15 overtime defeat when they hosted Houston a week ago.
