Philadelphia made it all the way to the 2022 USFL Championship Game, where they lost to Birmingham.
The Stars made a slow start to the regular season as they lost their season opener and then went on to lose two of their next four games.
They kick-started their season in Week 6 though beating Tampa Bay 35-28 to spark a four-game win streak.
Philadelphia went on beat Houston 35-25, Michigan 46-24 and Pittsburgh 17-16, meaning they still made the postseason despite a 26-23 loss to New Jersey in Week 10.
The Stars avenged that loss in the Division Finals with a 19-14 victory over the Generals, but came up short in the USFL Championship Game as they lost 33-30 to Birmingham.
Memphis Showboats Form
Memphis are newcomers to the USFL, having replaced the Tampa Bay Bandits team that competed in 2022.
The Showboats have taken on a large chunk of the roster that went just 4-6 as the Bandits last season, although starting QB Jordan Ta’amu is no longer with team after joining the XFL for 2023.
The Bandits won their season opener in 2022, beating Pittsburgh 17-3, but struggled for consistency they rest of the way.
They failed to string together consecutive wins and finished the season by losing four of their final games.
