The Ducks opened the season with a blowout loss to defending national champions Georgia, losing 49-3.
They rebounded well though and reeled off eight consecutive wins to get put themselves in contention for the College Football Playoffs.
That run included a 45-30 win at home to #9 UCLA that propelled them into the top 10 for the first time.
However, Oregon faced three ranked teams to close out the regular season, winning just once to drop back out of the top 10.
The Ducks sandwiched a 20-17 win at home to #10 Utah with a 37-34 loss to #24 Washington and a 38-34 defeat to #22 Oregon State.

North Carolina head into this Bowl Game looking to snap a three-game losing skid and end the season on a high note.
The Tar Heels won three of their first four games of the season as they opened with non-conference games.
They then reeled off six consecutive victories as the ACC schedule got underway and that was enough to lift them into the top 25.
North Carolina beat Virginia Tech 41-10 at home and followed it up with road wins at Miami FL (27-24) and Duke (38-35).
The wins kept coming as they returned home for a 42-24 win against Pitt, and the streak hit six games as they then won 31-28 at Virginia and 36-34 at Wake Forest.
That run was halted though, by a 21-17 home loss to Georgia Tech, and they have not won since.
The Tar Heels lost 30-27 to NC State in their regular season finale and were then blown out 39-10 by #10 Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.
