Oklahoma State failed to follow up that win over the Sooners as they suffered a shock 45-3 blowout loss at UCF, but they did rebound over the next two games to beat Houston 43-30 and BYU 40-34.
That earned the Cowboys a spot in the conference game, but they were no match for #7 Texas as they were beaten 49-21.
